FORT GAY, W.Va. — Police in Wayne County made quick work of a bank robbery investigation Friday, Sheriff Rick Thompson said.
A man wearing a mask walked into the Community Trust Bank in Fort Gay Friday with a gun and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash, ran out of the bank and jumped into a pick-up truck.
A Wayne County deputy followed the truck into Kentucky where the man was arrested by Kentucky state troopers.
Troopers found the stolen money in the truck, authorities said.
