Winter weather advisory in effect for most of state

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Most of West Virginia will be under a winter weather advisory through Tuesday afternoon as snow makes its way through the Mountain State.

The National Weather Service said one to three inches of snow is expected in a much of West Virginia, as well as southeast Ohio and northeast Kentucky.

The agency warns roads will be slippery, and visibility will also be affected.

The winter weather advisory is set to expire Tuesday at 6 p.m.
