Bell ringing ceremony to be held at WVU in honor of deceased former freshman

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia University will hold a bell-ringing ceremony in honor of a former WVU student and Preston County native who died late last year.

18-year-old Alana Faye Sulick, a pre-medical laboratory science major from Kingwood, died Nov. 30, 2017

The service will begin around noon at Oglebay Plaza on WVU’s downtown campus. Those interested in attending are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand. All are welcome.

Sulick was a graduate from Preston High School, a Promise Scholarship recipient at WVU, and a member of the Preston High School girl’s basketball team.
