Kanawha deputies investigate drug death

MONTGOMERY, W.Va. — Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies believe a drug overdose killed a woman Friday night in the Montgomery area.

According to investigators, a man and a woman were in a house along Morris Drive when the woman began having problems. The man brought her outside to flag down help at around 10:30 p.m. A motorist stopped and called 911. The woman was pronounced dead a short time later.

Deputies are continuing their investigation.
