OAK HILL, W.Va. — Oak Hill Police are investigating a Monday morning stabbing that injured one man.
The department said they were dispatched to Plateau Medical Center at around 3:30 in the morning for an apparent stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a 27 year-old male with a single stab wound to the chest.
After further investigation officers arrested Jessica Raines, 24 of Oak Hill, as the suspect. The two had been involved in a domestic argument.
Raines faces a charge of malicious wounding. She has been placed in the Southern Regional Jail awaiting arraignment in Fayette County Magistrate Court.
The victim was transported to Charleston Area Medical Center and is in stable condition.
