Morgantown’s defensive effort on display in win over St. Albans

INSTITUTE, W.Va. — Morgantown improved to 10-7 earlier this week with a comfortable 59-39 win over St. Albans in the Little General Shootout from West Virginia State.

Drew Selders led the Mohigans with 16 points, while Cam Selders added 15 points. The Mohigans also hit nine 3s in the win.

Morgantown led 24-12 at the half.

St. Albans (5-12) was led by Rodney Toler who scored 13 points in the loss.

In 11 of Morgantown’s 17 games this season, the Mohigans have held their opponents to under 50 points.
