PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — Parkersburg snapped a three-game skid on Friday night, defeating South Charleston 66-58 in the MSAC fifth-place game.
The Big Reds (12-9) were led by Parker Miller who finished with 22 points. Kionte Peacock added 14 points and Brenton Strange totaled 12 points in the win as well.
South Charleston (11-8), meanwhile, has now lost three of four since a 66-63 win over Capital back on February 5.
The Black Eagles were led Friday by E.J. Phillips who finished with 20 points.
The two teams are scheduled to meet again Wednesday of next week at South Charleston.
