Drug roundup in Eastern Panhandle nets multiple arrests

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Multiple law enforcement agencies took part in a drug roundup Friday in the Eastern Panhandle, authorities said.

Nineteen people were taken into custody on various charges including the possession of illegal drugs and the selling of those drugs, according to the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.

The investigation, which covered the last 10 months, included federal, state and local officers.

Authorities said they were still looking for about 20 people
