Pennsylvania man arrested for Ohio County bank robbery

WHEELING, W.Va. — Ohio County Sheriff’s deputies wasted no time apprehending a suspect in a Wheeling bank robbery on Friday afternoon.

Authorities say Aaron Randolph Haseltine, 35, of Perryopolis, Pennsylvania was arrested only minutes after the heist at the WesBanco branch at the Highlands in Ohio County. Haseltine was taken into custody in a traffic stop on I-70 westbound between the Highlands and Wheeling’s city limits after an all points bulletin was put out on his vehicle following he robbery.

According to investigators, Haseltine entered the bank and passed the teller a not demanding money. Haseltine was not armed and nobody was injured in the robbery.
