Elkins wreck claims 2 lives

ELKINS, W.Va. — Two people were killed in a Monday late afternoon crash on the Beverly Five-lane in Elkins, authorities said.

A driver lost control of the vehicle near Precision Pre-Owned Auto at a few minutes before 5 p.m. The initial report said there was a rollover and ejection.

Authorities said two people died as a result of injuries suffered in the wreck. A third person was injured.

The Elkins Police Department is investigating.
