CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Attorney General’s Office announced Tuesday it has won a civil judgement worth around $443,000 against a charter bus company.
Cav’s Coach Company, LLC and owner Christopher Todd Cavender were forced to refund money in August to Kermit Area School and Crum Middle School and a family for canceled trips. Both schools said Cav’s Coach Company refunded less than one-fifth of the required refund amount.
Cavender has refunded more than $22,600 for the trips He is permanently prohibited from accepting any money for providing charter bus transportation. The order also requires him to pay any refunds if complaints arise.
