ANMOORE, W.Va. — A two vehicle accident has shutdown I-79 southbound for about an hour, with no projected time for the interstate to re-open.

Details on the accident are limited, but include a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle. First responders treated at least one person trapped in the passenger vehicle.

Four people were transported to area hospitals, according to Harrison County 911 operators.

The interstate is shutdown near mile marker 119 heading south. The call went to first responders shortly before 3:30 p.m.

State Police are investigating.
