NEW RICHMOND, W.Va. — Wyoming East 6-foot-5 junior Emily Saunders was a guest this past week on the MetroNews ‘Statewide Sportsline’ with Tony Caridi, looking at her decision to commit to Tennessee.
“At first it was very overwhelming,” Saunders said. “When I had a call that Tennesee was interested, my heart sank. I can’t even tell you how excited I was. I thought more about it and wanted to make sure that’s where I wanted to go.
“I can’t tell you how happy I am with my decision,” she continued. “I feel relief and I’m just excited for it.”
