Softball: Hurricane with shutout win over Woodrow Wilson

HURRICANE, W.Va. — Tori Green threw a five-inning shutout as three-time defending Class AAA softball state champion Hurricane beat Woodrow Wilson 8-0 on Wednesday night.

Jayme Bailey hit a two-run home run for the Redskins in the win, while Kiersten Landers collected three hits.

Hurricane scored six runs in the fifth inning to close out the game.

It was the first game of a double-header as Hurricane beat Spring Valley in game two, improving to 9-0 on the season.
