Man indicted for causing overdose death in Taylor County

GRAFTON, W.Va. — A Clarksburg man is under indictment after dealing drugs to a man who later overdosed.

Bryan Alan Knorr, 40, is accused of dealing both meth and heroin to Michael T. Gavitt, who died as a result of intoxication of the mixture of the two drugs.

Gavitt was 30 at the time of his death in January.

Knorr faces four counts total: delivery of a controlled substance resulting in death, one count of deliver of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
