HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. — Hedgesville bounced back from its 22-11 loss to University on Monday night with a 7-2 win over No. 3 Washington Tuesday night.

Chase Delauter put in a complete game effort on the mound, striking out nine and giving up five hits in seven innings of work.

Hunter Coe went 3 for 4 from the plate in the win with two RBIs and a run scored in the win.

Brady Weaver and Dylan Sexton both collected an RBI apiece for Hedgesville as well.

The Eagles improved to 9-7 with the victory, now boasting wins over ranked opponents No. 7 Morgantown, No. 6 Jefferson and No. 3 Washington.

Washington, which beat Hedgesville in regional play for a spot in the state tournament last year, dropped to 5-3 with the loss.
