MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — One person is in custody following a Wednesday night stabbing in downtown Morgantown.
Brady Piper, 40, of Morgantown, is charged with malicious wounding following the stabbing of Charles Bishop, a 50-year-old from Morgantown.
Bishop is in stable condition, according to Morgantown Chief of Police Ed Preston.
The stabbing occurred around 8:30 p.m. on the 400 block of High Street.
Piper was taken into custody on Willey Street near University Avenue.
