Elderly man found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in Monongalia County

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Police have identified multiple persons of interest in an ongoing murder investigation.

The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department has detained multiple persons of interest in Pennsylvania related to a Sunday shooting in Monongalia County.

Police arrived on scene at Old Stewartstown Road to investigate an unattended death Tuesday when they discovered the body of Timothy Pahl, 67.

Pahl had been shot multiple times in the stomach, according to the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department.
