Persons of interest in Monongalia County homicide investigation arrested on unrelated charges

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Four people of interest in a Monongalia County homicide investigation are facing unrelated charges.

Elizabeth Chinn, 32, of South Point, Ohio, Elizabeth Hartley, 25, of Grafton, Moriah Weaver, 42, of Fairmont, and Glenn Weaver, 25, of Morgantown, are each in custody and facing a variety of charges.

The four are considered persons of interest in the shooting death of Timothy Pahl, a 67-year-old Morgantown man found shot to death Tuesday on Old Stewartstown Road.

The shooting is believed to have occurred Sunday.

The four were arrested following the execution of a search warrant by Pennsylvania State Police at Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The four were believed to be staying there.

During the search, police discovered three handguns, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, counterfeit currency, and devices to produce counterfeit currency.

The investigation remains ongoing.
