Police ID body found in Monongahela River

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Police have identified the body recovered from the Monongahela River in Marion County earlier this week, Clarksburg Police reported Wednesday.

Mark Lundell, Jr., 29, of Clarksburg, was found Monday after first responders spent hours searching both the West Fork River in Harrison County and the Monongahela River in Marion County.

Lundell had previously been reported missing by his family members on March 28. The investigation is ongoing. No further information is released at this time.
