Beckley Police search for man who robbed credit union at gunpoint

Update 5.22.18:

BECKLEY, W.Va. — Christopher Ryan Parker, 34 of Beckley, has been arrested in connection with the crime.

He faces charges of first-degree robbery, as well as additional charges on unrelated outstanding warrants for second-offense domestic battery and strangulation.

BECKLEY, W.Va. — The Beckley Police Department is looking for information on a man accused of robbing the Raleigh County Educators Federal Credit Union Wednesday.

It happened at around 3 Wednesday afternoon at the credit union’s Adair Street office. A black male with medium height and weight entered the building, presented a gun and demanded money.

Police say the unidentified man fled the scene in a blue Dodge Ram pick-up truck. Anyone with information is urged to contact Beckley Police at 304-256-1720.
