One charged with murder after Marion County homicide

COLFAX, W.Va. — A suspect is in custody, charged with first-degree murder in the Monday night death of Dustin Meyers in Marion County.

Meyers was found shot to death in his vehicle around 10 p.m. Monday.

Authorities said the vehicle was found on its side in Guyses Creek, originally thought to be a single-vehicle accident. The vehicle went over an embankment and into a creek off of Pinchgut Hollow Road.
