Death of St. Marys man under investigation

ST. MARYS, W.Va. — State police troopers are investigating the suspicious death of a Pleasants County man.

According to troopers, the parents of Timothy Wayne Kuchne, 37, of 316 Bradfield Drive, St. Marys, arrived home Thursday and discovered their son dead on the floor of his bedroom. There were no “obvious indicators” of cause of death, the incident report said.

Kuchne’s vehicle was missing. It’s described as a red 2014 Ford Focus with
West Virginia license plate 71Z 886.

According to troopers, Kuchne was seen with an unknown person earlier in the week. He was last seen alive Tuesday.

The body has been sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office.
