West Virginia is slated for night kickoffs against Youngstown State, Baylor and Oklahoma in Morgantown next season.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia will host at least three night football games next season, assuaging fans’ complaints regarding the recent spate of noon kickoffs.

The Big 12 Conference and WVU announced Thursday the start times for three games next fall:

Sept. 8 — WVU vs. Youngstown State, 6 p.m. (AT&T SportsNet)
Oct. 25 — WVU vs. Baylor, 7 p.m. (FS1)
Nov. 23 — WVU vs. Oklahoma, 8 p.m. (ESPN)

The Sooners visit for the regular-season finale on the Friday after Thanksgiving, a game that Mountaineers fans hope will carry Big 12 title game implications.

Previously announced were 3:30 p.m. kickoff times for WVU’s season opener vs. Tennessee on Sept. 1 in Charlotte and West Virginia’s game at N.C. State on Sept. 15 (network TBA).

The remainder of the 2018 television schedule and kickoff times will be announced on 12-day or six-day windows preceding each game.
