CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state School Building Authority made two personnel moves during a brief meeting Tuesday.
The authority promoted Ben Ashley to director of architectural services. Ashley had been interim director.
The SBA also approved the hiring of Sue Chapman as its new finance director. Chapman, who has worked in the state Department of Education and the Arts, will replace longtime SBA Finance Director Garry Stewart.
Stewart is retiring on June 30 after nearly 28 years with the SBA.
The next SBA meeting is set for June 18.
