MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — University senior first baseman Ross Mulhall, a La Salle signee, was the only West Virginia representative on the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings all-region teams.
Mulhall was named to the 13-member Region 2 team, which featured six players from New Jersey, two players from Maryland and North Carolina apiece, and one player each from Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

Mulhall, 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, put together a .472 batting average with 11 home runs, 12 doubles and 44 RBIs as University ended the year with an 18-10 record and final No. 9 ranking in the MetroNews baseball poll.
The ABCA/Rawlings recognition adds to Mulhall’s Gatorade state player of the year honor as well.
The all-region teams are selected by the ABCA high school all-America committee.
