Bridgeport’s Evan Ogden named to Ray Guy in-state top prospect list

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Bridgeport rising senior Evan Ogden this week was added to the Ray Guy ProKicker.com top prospect list for punters and kickers in the state of West Virginia.

Other in-state players on the list include:

  • Cameron Powell, Riverside (Class of 2019)
  • Kaulin Parris, Bluefield (Class of 2020)
  • Michael Hughes, George Washington (Class of 2021)

Elkins’ kicker George Triplett, a Princeton recruit, last year was named as the top in-state special teams player for his senior season, winning the Walker Award from the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.

The Ray Guy Top Prospect Award program includes an evaluation that takes place throughout the entire instructional process at every Ray Guy/Prokicker.com Kicking Camp event. The Top Prospect Award program is primarily for high school juniors and seniors.
