ALDERSON, W.Va. — A man is behind bars after a crash at the annual Alderson Independence Day Parade that injured one person.
Paul Davis, 56 of Asbury, allegedly struck two parked vehicles and two other vehicles in the parade with his car. One of those vehicles was a Talcott Volunteer Fire Department engine, according to the Alderson Police Department.
One female was treated for minor injuries from the accident.
Davis has been charged with aggravated DUI with bodily injury, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident.
He was taken to Southern Regional Jail in Raleigh County.
