Amsler found guilty in March 2017 fatal shooting

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Harrison County jury reached a guilty verdict Thursday in the case of Daniel Amsler.

The jury found Amsler guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery for the March 2017 shooting death of Keyairy Wilson.

The verdict came on the fourth day of the trial.

The jury also decided to withhold mercy. A sentencing date will be scheduled for late September.
