Justice announces new appointment to Board of Education

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Jim Justice announced Friday his appointment of Nancy Jo White to the West Virginia Board of Education.

White, of Berkeley Springs, succeeds Jeffrey Flanagan, who resigned from the board in May.

“I am thrilled and honored that Gov. Justice has chosen me to serve the children, teachers, school service personnel and citizens of West Virginia,” White said.

White most recently served as treasurer for Morgan County Schools, retiring from the position in 2014. She also worked in Jefferson, Lewis and Taylor counties.
