Remains of 2 bodies found in Raleigh County

SULLIVAN, W.Va. — An investigation continues after the remains of two bodies were discovered near a road in Raleigh County.

The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the remains were found near Sullivan Road in the Sullivan area late Wednesday. The small community is roughly 10 miles south of Beckley.

The case is being investigated as a homicide. Deputies are unable to confirm any further details at this time.
