Pocahontas County man charged with DUI after fatal ATV crash

GREENBRIER COUNTY, W.Va. — One woman is dead and a man is behind bars on a DUI charge after an ATV crash.

Greenbrier County Sheriff Bruce Sloan said Joshua Morgan, 28 of Hillsboro, was driving the ATV with passenger Megan Thomas, 23 of Lindside, when he lost control and crashed.

Authorities responded at around 5 Sunday evening to the crash scene near Cold Knob Mountain to discover Thomas died from her injuries.

Morgan has been charged with DUI causing death. He has already been arraigned and released on $5,000 bond.

West Virginia State Police assisted deputies with the investigation.
