Uniontown woman killed in Monongalia County wreck

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The victim in a fatal Monongalia County wreck has been identified as a Uniontown, Pennsylvania native.

Jessica Marie Boord, 29, was pronounced dead on scene following a crash shortly before midnight Sept. 4.

Police said Boord was thrown from the vehicle she was a passenger in. A 2003 Ford Explorer traveling south on Point Marion Road went over the side of a hill.

The driver, Robert G. Vanulvanee, reportedly lost control of the vehicle. He’s being treated for non-life threatening injuries in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
