Body of Summers County man found in store parking lot

LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Police are investigating the death of a Summers County man found inside his car at a local Walmart over the weekend.

The body of Patrick Ray Branch, 33, of Hinton was discovered Saturday afternoon at roughly 3:40. Police said Branch’s body was found inside of his vehicle in the store’s parking lot.

The state Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy but according to the police chief, no foul play is suspected.
