Mingo Central squanders 21-point lead, rallies past Sissonville 39-36

SISSONVILLE, W.Va — Highlights from Mingo Central’s 39-36 win at Sissonville.

The Miners lost a 33-12 lead into the fourth quarter as the Indians rallied for 24 unanswered points.

Mingo Central (3-1) recovered on a Daylin Goad-to-Devin Hatfield touchdown connection in the final minute to escape with a win.

Goad completed 17-of-24 passes for 328 yards and six touchdowns.

Sissonville (3-1) lost despite a huge game from Will Hackney, who threw for 314 yards and ran for 148 more. He finished the game with five total touchdowns — three passing and two rushing.
