Pedestrian, two dogs killed by motorist near Reynoldsville

REYNOLDSVILLE, W.Va. — Deputies with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department are investigating an auto pedestrian accident on U.S. in Reynoldsville that claimed the life of one pedestrian and two dogs.

Authorities were called on scene around 10:42 p.m. Thursday, shutting down both westbound lanes of U.S. 50 for some time. The incident occurred just before the Jarvisville Road exit near mile marker 70.

Reynoldsville and Salem fire departments and Salem EMS responded to the scene.
