HURRICANE, W.Va. — A Putnam County man died Friday following an ATV crash.
West Virginia State Police say 87-year-old Luther Young, of Hamlin, was driving on Big Creek Road when he swerved to avoid a dog in the road.
Young struck the dog, killing it. He then went off the right side of the road into a ditch. The vehicle rolled on top of the man, killing him.
