GASSAWAY, W.Va. — Braxton County authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide.
It’s believed an elderly man shot and killed his wife and then took his own life. The man left a note, authorities said.
The bodies were found in a residence in the Gassaway area Monday afternoon.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims.
