Woman killed after logging truck wreck

BARTOW, W.Va. — A woman was killed Monday in Pocahontas County when logs from a truck that had wrecked rolled into the driveway where she was standing.

According to state police in Marlinton, Lyndsee Lambert, 22, of Durbin, was in that driveway along state Route 92 near Bartow when the driver of the logging truck lost control. The large logs from the truck came quickly toward Lambert.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers are continuing their investigation.
