Manchin to end campaign with motorcycle tour

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin plans to finish his campaign for reelection on a motorcycle tour across the state.

U.S. Senator Joe Manchin and wife Gayle have ridden in several events over the years.

The “Take Me Home” ride will include 12 stops over two days.

The tour will both begin and end in Charleston.

Manchin is scheduled to depart from the state Culture Center parking lot at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The tour will take him through Beckley, Lewisburg, Marlinton, Elkins and Romney. The first day will end in Martinsburg.

Monday will include trips through Morgantown, Fairmont and Bridgeport before arriving back in Charleston for a rally Tuesday evening at Manchin campaign headquarters.

According to the campaign, other riders are welcome to join in at any time.
