Justice turns to known quantity for school board post

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Jim Justice announced Friday a new appointment to the state Board of Education.

Robert William Dunlevy, of Wheeling, replaced Frank Vitale, whose term expired earlier this month.

Dunlevy’s experience includes serving on the Ohio County Board of Education between 1985 and 2005, including as president from 2003 to 2005, and serving on the state Board of Education between 2005 and 2014.

Dunlevy serves as national sales manager for Lincoln Manufacturing of Houston and is board chairman of the Health Plan of the Upper Ohio Valley.
