WVU student, injured in fall at fraternity house, in critical condition

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — University officials confirmed a WVU student has been hospitalized after falling down the stairs at a fraternity house Saturday night.

The incident reportedly occurred after WVU’s victory over TCU.

David Rusko was “visiting with fellow fraternity brothers” when the incident occurred at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house. He is in critical condition.

In an e-mail exchange, WVU officials said the “hope is that he makes a fully and speedy recovery.”

Rusko is being treated for complications from the fall.

The official added: “We are still gathering information to get a clearer picture of what occurred.”
