Logan County man arrested on several domestic charges

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. — A Davin, West Virginia man is behind bars and facing several domestic charges.

Investigators say 44-year old Dwight James Brewster allegedly strangled his mother, forced her to strip naked and held her against her will in a November 8 incident at the mother’s home.

The mother told authorities that her son became angry after she refused to give him a ride somewhere.

Brewster faces strangulation, domestic battery, domestic assault, kidnapping and wanton endangerment charges.

He was taken to the South Western Regional Jail and his bond is $50,000.
