Serious injuries result from U.S. 50 crash, vehicle fire in Doddridge County

DODDRIDGE COUNTY, W.Va. — HealthNet was called to the scene of a Monday morning crash on U.S. 50 in Doddridge County that resulted in a vehicle fire.

The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 Wiseman Run Road around 6:20 a.m. A pickup truck and tractor-tailor collided, leaving the pickup truck engulfed in flames.

Multiple crews from both Doddridge County and Harrison County responded to the scene.

According to the Pennsboro Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page, there were “serious injuries” that resulted from the crash. There is not yet word on what caused the accident.
