Warrants out for Charleston man after shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston Police are on the hunt of a suspect in a home invasion from Friday night.

Police say Devon Webster is wanted after he forced his way into a home on Charleston’s Carte Street about 10 p.m. Friday. Police say inside the home Webster pistol whipped one victim in the face and shot another male victim multiple times in the face and body. He then fled on foot.

The shooting victim remain in stable condition.

Police have warrants for Webster’s arrest on two counts of malicious wounding. Police say he’s considered armed and dangerous and anyone knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact authorities.
