CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources announced Wednesday it is investigating alleged patient abuse at Welch Community Hospital.
According to DHHR, the West Virginia State Police learned Tuesday of the complaint and have launched an investigation, as is the DHHR’s Office of Health Facility Licensure and Certification.
