Final suspects in Raleigh County mine break-in turn themselves in

RALEIGH COUNTY, W.Va. — The two women accused of breaking into an abandon Raleigh County coal mine earlier this month have turned themselves in.

Treadway

Authorities said Kayla Williams, 25, and Erica Treadway, 31, were taken into custody Wednesday and are being charged with conspiracy, destruction of property, and entering without breaking.

They are both being held on a $100,000 bond at Southern Regional Jail.

Williams and Treadway entered the Rock House Powelton Mine with Eddie Williams Jr, 43, and Cody Beverly, 21, on the weekend of December 8. The two men have already been taken into custody and have the same charges.

Williams

Williams Jr. is also charged with falsely reporting an emergency, entry of a building other than a dwelling and conspiracy to commit a felony. He walked out of the mine two days before the other three were rescued.
