Application period opens for three judicial vacancies

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The application period to serve in the 10th, 17th and 23rd Judicial Circuits opened Thursday.

The Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission will receive applications for the circuits with interviews being conducted later this month.

Interested candidates need to submit applications as letters of recommendation to General Counsel Brian Abraham.

The deadline to apply for the vacancy on the 10th Judicial Circuit, which serves Raleigh County, is Jan.16. Interviews will be held Jan. 23. As for the 17th Judicial Circuit, which is Monongalia County, the deadline is Jan. 18 with interviews taking place Jan. 31.

The commission will receive applications for the 23rd Judicial Circuit, which serves Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties, through Jan. 18. Interviews will be held Jan. 31.
