Woman injured in Charleston shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston police are investigating a Saturday shooting on the West Side which left one woman with a leg injury.

The incident happened before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Glenwood Avenue.

Police said the woman was shot in the leg. She was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Police added the shooting appears to be isolated.
