Arrest made in fatal Harrison County shooting

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A 22-year-old Clarksburg man is behind bars following a deadly overnight shooting in Harrison County.

Mason Lynch is charged with murder in the shooting death of his 20-year-old roommate, Harrison County Sheriff Robert Matheny confirmed Tuesday.

The shooting occurred just before 11 Monday night in the Liberty addition of Clarksburg. The victim’s identified is not yet publicly released.

Lynch is in the North Central Regional Jail awaiting arraignment.
